HIPPYUSA

HIPPY USA believes that every child deserves a quality preschool education and that parents want the best for their children. Early education is key to a child's brighter future, and parents are their child's first teacher. Our peer home visitors deliver top-quality curriculum to parents of 2 to 5 year-olds for 30 weeks for 1 hour each week. Parents then use HIPPY resources and new skills to teach their children for 20 minutes each day.

HIPPY - Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters

The Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY), formerly Home Instruction Program for Preschool Youngsters, is a home-based, early intervention program that helps parents create experiences for their children that lay the foundation for success in school and later life. The program is designed specifically for those parents who may not feel confident in their own abilities to teach their children. In the United States, HIPPY is a two or three year program for parents with children ages three, four and five.

Covid-19 Update

The HIPPY team is dedicated to providing ongoing service during this very sensitive time. Even in times of social distancing, and staying safer at home, the staff are delivering curriculum for the families and children to explore while meeting with the home visitors virtually. Consistency and support from your HIPPY team is incredibly important to the staff and looking at these smiles, the children are incredibly appreciative.
