About the Foundation
The Foundation for Early Learning in Pasco and Hernando Counties, Inc. is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization developed to support families and child care providers in Pasco and Hernando Counties. The Foundation works to promote, support and engage in charitable activities which support its mission.

Promote the importance of high quality Early Education within Pasco and Hernando Counties.

Interested in Becoming a Foundation Member?
The Foundation for Early Learning in Pasco and Hernando Counties, Inc., a nonprofit organization, is soliciting applications from those interested in joining. These are volunteer positions in an exciting new endeavor, supportive of the preparation of children, from 0-8 years of age, for entry into both Pasco and Hernando County schools.
If you are a parent, a working person or a retiree, here is your challenge and opportunity to contribute to planning and implementing programs to benefit these youngsters. Applicants must be residents of and/or work in either Pasco and/or Hernando County. The greater the variety of the Foundation's membership, the more productive will be its work.
Types of Membership
General Members
General Members are persons whose request for general
membership is approved by majority vote of the Board.
General Members may vote at membership meetings, are
eligible to become a Director or Officer of the Foundation
Board, and may serve as a voting member on Foundation
committees.
Provider Members
Provider Members are owners, officers, operators and
employees of entities providing Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten
and School Readiness programs in Pasco and Hernando
Counties. Provider Members must apply for membership and
must, in order to be approved and be remained as a member,
actually be providing Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten and/or
School Readiness services as part of the program
administered by the Early Learning Coalition of Pasco and
Hernando Counties, Inc. (ELCPH). Except as otherwise
provided in by-laws, Provider Members do not have voting
rights. They may attend Board, committee or membership
meeting.
All members shall be included on the Foundation mailing list and may be eligible for an award of Foundation financial support and/or mini-grant.
